Vegetable Beef Soup
- 1 pkg. boneless beef stew
- 1 pkg. beef short ribs
- 3 qt. (or 3 lb.) cans tomatoes
- 1 small onion
- 1 pt. frozen butter beans
- 2 stalks celery
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 to 3 carrots, peeled and sliced
- 6 white potatoes, peeled and diced
- 1/2 to 1 pt. frozen corn
- 1 c. macaroni
- Cook beef
- and onions until almost done in small amount of water.
- Remove
- bone
- fromthort
- ribs
- and chop beef into small pieces.
- Add
- salt,
- pepper
- and
- tomatoes.
- Cook until boiling again.
- Add butter beans and celery.
- Cook 30 minutes. Add potatoes
- and
- carrots; cook for 30 minutes.
- Add corn and macaroni; cook
- for 10 to 15 more minutes until all vegetables are done.
- If it gets too thick, add more water.
