Country-Style Skillet Pork
- 2 lb. boneless pork loin or shoulder (1-inch thick)
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1 (11 3/4 oz.) bottle stir-fry sauce
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 1 medium onion, cut in 3/4-inch chunks
- 1 (16 oz.) pkg. Green Giant frozen San Francisco style vegetables
- Cut pork into 1-inch cubes; coat with mixture of cornstarch, pepper and garlic powder.
- Heat oil in large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add pork and brown on all sides.
- Remove pan from heat.
- Combine stir-fry sauce and water; stir into skillet. Cover and return pan to heat.
- Simmer 20 minutes, stirring once. Stir in onion and mixed vegetables.
- Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer, covered, for 12 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
- Serve over hot rice.
