Chocolate Chip Toffee Grahams
- whole graham crackers, separated into individual squares
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup finely chopped pecans
- 6 ounces semi sweet chocolate mini morsels
- Arrange graham crackers in a single layer in a jelly roll pan.
- Set aside.
- In a medium sauce pan, combine butter and sugar. Cook over a medium heat, stirring until butter melts.
- Bring to a boil and boil for 2 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in cinnamon and chopped nuts.
- Pour over graham crackers, spreading evenly to edges.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
- Sprinkle with chocolate chips.
- Cool 5 minutes, separate cookies and transfer to a wax paper lined cookie sheet, using a spatula. Refrigerate until chocolate hardens.
- Store cookies between layers of waxed paper in an airtight container in refrigerator.
