Heart Attack Lasagne

  1. Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
  2. Brown ground beef, adding grated onion. Drain beef of fat.
  3. Add sauce along with basil, garlic and pepper. Simmer and stir.
  4. Add olive oil to a pot of boiling water.
  5. Add lasagna noodles and boil until limp; drain and separate strips. Using a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan, spread thin layer of sauce, then layer cottage or Ricotta cheese, layer of Mozzarella, layer of Cheddar and layer of pasta; repeat.
  6. Crisscross lasagna noodles while layering.
  7. Bake for 30 minutes.
  8. Remove from oven and add a top layer of sour cream.
  9. Return to oven just long enough to warm the sour cream layer, approximately 5 minutes.
  10. Let stand; cut to serve.
