Sweet & Spicy Avocado Toast
- 4 pieces pain rustique, 1/4"-1/2" in thickness
- 1 piece avocado
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne papper
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2/3 cup fresh greens
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil, for drizzling
- Cut 4 slices of pain rustique 1/4"-1/2" in thickness
- Drizzle the fresh cut bread with olive oil and place under the broiler for 3-5 mins or until bread reaches desired color and crunchiness
- Allow the toasts to cool for 2 mins
- Cut the avocado in half and then into fourths -allowing 1/4 avocado per toast. Slice the avocado and arrange a layer onto each toast
- Drizzle each piece with honey and then sprinkle with cayenne pepper, paprika, & salt to taste
- Top with fresh greens for added crunch & nutrition.
