Marshmallow Krispie Bars
- 1 pkg. Duncan Hines fudge brownie mix (family size)
- 1 (10 to 12 oz.) pkg. miniature marshmallows
- 1 1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 c. creamy peanut butter
- 1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1 1/2 c. Rice Krispies cereal
- Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
- Grease bottom of 13 x 9-inch pan. Prepare brownies following package directions for original recipe. Remove from oven.
- Sprinkle marshmallows over hot brownies.
- Return to oven; bake 3 minutes longer.
- Combine chocolate chips, peanut butter and butter in medium saucepan.
- Cook on low heat, stirring constantly, until chips are melted.
- Add Rice Krispies and mix well.
- Spread over marshmallow layer.
- Refrigerate until chilled. Cut into bars.
- Makes 24.
