Zesty Half And Half

  1. In a large pitcher put 6 teabags and 6 cups of cold water and leave until it makes strong tea (usually about an hour)
  2. Juice the lemons(you should have a cup of juice) and add about 3 cups of cold water. Zest at least 3 of the lemons.
  3. Mix the tea and the lemonade together and add sugar or simple syrup to taste. ( I usually do not add much sugar and leave that to each drinker)
  4. Rinse glasses and place in the freezer for about an hour prior to making the half and half so that they will achieve a nice frosty appearance when you fill them.
  5. Remove the glasses from the freezer and dip the rim in lemon zest. Add ice and add the half and half. Add more sugar if you want a sweeter version.
  6. If you want a sweeter drink, you can mix sugar with the zest and use that mixture to rim the glass.
