Rainbow Cake

  1. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.
  2. Cream together butter or Crisco and sugar.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  4. Add dry ingredients to mixture, alternating with milk and flavorings until all are well mixed together.
  5. Divide the batter into 3 equal portions.
  6. Tint each portion of batter with yellow, green and pink coloring.
  7. Pour pink batter into 10 x 4-inch tube (greased) pan, then pour green batter over pink, then yellow over green batter.
  8. Bake 70 minutes in a 350u0b0 oven.
