Oriental Pasta Salad
- 1 lb. bow tie pasta
- 1 tsp. crushed red pepper
- 1/4 c. corn oil
- 1/2 c. sesame oil
- 5 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 6 Tbsp. honey
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. chopped cilantro
- 3/4 c. peanuts
- 1/2 c. chopped green onions
- 2 Tbsp. sesame seed
- cilantro (for garnish)
- cooked and chopped chicken
- Cook pasta to al dente and drain well.
- Meanwhile, in saucepan, stir red pepper and oils over medium heat for 2 minutes. Add honey, soy sauce and salt.
- Stir to combine and mix well with cooked pasta.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- When ready to serve, add cilantro, chicken, peanuts and green onions to pasta.
- Toss together and garnish with cilantro.
- Makes 8 to 10 servings.
