Fruit Cake

  1. Mix butter, sugar and eggs in large bowl.
  2. Add dry ingredients (sift together).
  3. Combine, using heavy spoon or hands.
  4. Add nuts, fruit and flavoring.
  5. Bake 1 pound loaves at 275u0b0 for 2 hours and tube pan at 275u0b0 for 3 hours.
  6. Half hour before done, take out of oven and brush with honey and corn syrup.
  7. Continue baking.
  8. Turn upside down to cool.
  9. Wrap in a wine cloth.
  10. Store in a plastic bag in a cool place.
