Leah'S Strawberry Bread

  1. Mix undrained strawberries, eggs and oil.
  2. Sift dry ingredients into strawberry mix, reserving about 1/2 cup flour. Stir to blend thoroughly.
  3. Stir nuts into reserved flour (this keeps them from sinking to bottom) and add to bread mix.
  4. Stir well.
  5. Pour into 2 well-greased and lightly floured 9 x 5-inch loaf pans.
  6. Bake in preheated 350u0b0 oven for 1 hour or until bread tests done (insert toothpick into center, if no batter clings to toothpick, bread is done).
  7. If top starts to over-brown before done, loosely put a tent-shaped piece of foil over loaves.
