Lasagne
- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1 medium chopped onion
- 1 clove garlic, chopped
- 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
- 1 c. water
- 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
- 1 Tbsp. Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1 c. cream-style small curd cottage cheese
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. lasagne noodles, cooked and drained
- 4 oz. Mozzarella cheese, grated
- Lightly brown ground beef, onion and garlic in frying pan; drain.
- Add tomato sauce, tomato paste, water, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper; cook slowly, covered, for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Mix cottage cheese and nutmeg. Spread 1 cup of meat sauce in bottom of 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
