Cheesy Beef Corn Bread

  1. Sprinkle 1 tablespoon corn meal in bottom of a 10-inch skillet (well-greased). Cook over medium heat until corn meal is slightly browned.
  2. Combine corn meal, salt and soda.
  3. Mix well. Add milk, corn, eggs and oil.
  4. Mix well.
  5. Pour 1/2 batter into skillet; sprinkle with cheese, onion, peppers and ground beef.
  6. Top with remaining batter.
  7. Bake in a 350u0b0 oven for 50 to 55 minutes. Makes 6 servings.
