Old Fashioned Swiss Steak

  1. In a large plastic bag combine 1/2 Cup flour, 1 tsp. salt, 1/2 tsp. pepper and garlic salt.
  2. Add beef and toss to coat.
  3. Remove meat from bag and pound with mallet. heat oil in Dutch oven and brown steak.
  4. Add garlic, green pepper, celery and onion.
  5. Cook 10 minutes.
  6. Add tomatoes, broth, soy sauce and salt and pepper. Cover and bake at 325 for 2 hours.
  7. Remove from oven.
