Shrimp Or Crabmeat Quiche
- 1 deep-dish pie shell
- 9 oz. boiled shrimp or 1 lb. crabmeat
- 1 1/2 c. Swiss cheese, grated
- 1/4 c. onion, chopped fine
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 c. evaporated milk
- Preheat oven to 450u0b0.
- Thaw pie crust as package directs. Prick bottom and sides with fork.
- Bake on cookie sheet about 5 minutes.
- Remove from oven.
- Distribute shrimp or crabmeat over bottom of pie shell.
- Sprinkle cheese and onions over shrimp.
- Beat eggs, milk, lemon juice and seasonings.
- Pour over shrimp or crabmeat mixture.
- Bake on cookie sheet for 15 minutes.
- Reduce oven to 350u0b0 and bake an additional 15 minutes or until top is golden brown.
- Serves 6.
