Fat-Free Chocolate Cake

  1. Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
  2. Spray a 9 x 9-inch pan.
  3. Combine flour, cocoa, cornstarch, baking powder, soda and salt.
  4. In medium bowl, with whisk, stir sugar and water for 1 minute.
  5. Add egg and corn syrup; stir until blended.
  6. Gradually stir into dry ingredients until smooth.
  7. Pour into pan.
  8. Bake for 35 minutes, or until toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Cool.
  10. If desired, sprinkle with confectioners sugar.
  11. Makes 16 servings (140 calories, 0 fat and 0 cholesterol).
