Honey Black Pepper Chicken Wings
- 3 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp black pepper powder
- 1 tbsp oyster Sauce
- 1/2 cup water
- 3 tbsp. vegetable oil
- 3 garlic cloves minced
- 2 tsp. ginger minced
- 1/2 cup onion sliced
- 1 green chili sliced
- 2 1/2 lbs. chicken wings
- Salt to taste
- Combine honey, oyster sauce ,soy sauce with 1/2 cup water
- In a heavy wok(bell metal urli), heat oil. Stir-fry the garlic , onion ,chili and ginger for few seconds
- Add the wings and sprinkle pepper powder and salt , cook until brown
- Add the honey mixture to the pan and turn down the heat to simmer. (If you want you can add 2 tbsp of good red wine)
- Cover and cook 15 minutes, or until wings are cooked through. Stir occasionally.
- Remove lid, reduce heat and stir-fry the wings while the sauce is reduced to a glaze.
- Serve with Parsley Rice
