Pizza Casserole
- 3 c. flour
- 3 c. instant mashed potato flakes
- 1 1/4 c. melted margarine
- 1 1/4 c. milk
- 1/2 tsp. oregano
- 2 Tbsp. grated Parmesan
- 1 lb. ground beef or turkey
- 1 lb. bulk Italian sausage
- 1 large onion, diced
- 5 or 6 large mushrooms, diced
- 1/2 sweet red pepper, diced
- 1/2 green pepper, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, mashed
- 8 oz. tomato sauce
- 6 oz. tomato paste
- 2 Tbsp. Sloppy Joe seasoning
- 1 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar and Mozzarella cheese
- Preheat oven to 400u0b0.
- Lightly grease a 9 x 13-inch pan. Combine melted margarine, flour, potato flakes, milk, oregano and Parmesan.
- Stir until it forms a ball.
- Knead a few times to smooth out the dough.
- Divide in half.
- Press half into bottom and up sides of a 9 x 13-inch pan.
- Do not leave any holes for filling to leak through.
