Easy And Delicious One-Skillet Pasta
- 12 ounces Linguine
- 3 Roma Tomatoes, Diced into bite-size pieces
- 1 Onion, thinly sliced (about 2 cups)
- 4 Cloves Garlic, thinly sliced
- 1/2 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes
- 2 sprigs Basil, plus extra for garnish
- 2 tablespoons Extra-Virgin Olive Oil
- 2 teaspoons Kosher Salt
- 1/4 teaspoon Freshly Group Black Pepper
- 4 1/2 cups Water
- Freshly Grated Parmesan Cheese, for serving
- In a large skillet, add linguine (should lay flat), tomatoes, onion, garlic, red pepper flakes, basil, olive oil, salt, pepper, and water.
- Bring to a boil over high heat, stirring and turning pasta frequently with tongs or a fork, until pasta is al dente and water has almost evaporated, about 9-10 minutes.
- Season to taste with additional salt and pepper, if needed, and divide among 4 bowls. Garnish with basil and freshly grated parmesan cheese.
