Pork Chop Scalloped Potato Casserole

  1. Brown chops in oil about 3 minutes on each side.
  2. Remove, add onion rings to fat remaining in skillet.
  3. Saute until tender, about 3 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and reserve.
  5. Melt butter in a medium pan.
  6. Stir in flour, salt and pepper.
  7. Cook 1 minute, add milk and broth slowly.
  8. Cook, stirring constantly, until sauce thickens and bubbles.
  9. Remove from heat.
  10. Arrange sliced potatoes and chops in buttered (or sprayed with Pam) dish about 11 x 7 x 2-inch.
  11. Top with onion rings.
  12. Pour sauce evenly over potatoes, chops and onions.
  13. Cover baking dish.
  14. Bake in moderate oven (350u0b0) for 1 hour.
  15. Uncover and bake 10 minutes longer or until chops and potatoes are tender.
