Italian Sausage And Pasta Bake

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions; drain. Cut sausage into 1/2-inch pieces; discard casings. Cook sausage in skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain. Add onion, garlic and bell peppers; continue to cook until sausage is cooked through and vegetables are crisp-tender, stirring occasionally. Add tomatoes and tomato paste; mix well. Stir in pasta and basil. Transfer to 13 x 9-inch baking dish. Cover with foil. Bake at 375u0b0 for 20 minutes. Uncover; sprinkle cheese evenly over casserole. Continue to bake 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.
