Favorite Casserole
- 1 (14 oz.) pkg. Steak-umm sandwich steaks (frozen section)
- 2 to 3 tomatoes, chopped
- 1/4 to 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 c. diced onions
- 3 Tbsp. Bleu cheese dressing (bottled)
- 1 pkg. macaroni and cheese mix (deluxe or regular)
- Cook macaroni and cheese according to package directions. While macaroni is cooking, place onions, garlic powder and chopped tomatoes in lightly oiled pan.
- Cook on medium heat for 5 minutes. Break Steak-umm steaks into 8 to 10 pieces each and add to tomato mixture.
- Cook and stir until Steak-umm pieces are just brown. Do not overcook.
- Stir Bleu cheese dressing into Steak-umm/tomato mixture.
- Take Steak-umm/tomato mixture out of pan with slotted spoon to drain excess tomato juice.
- Mix with macaroni and cheese. Salt to taste.
- Serves 4 to 6.
