Healthy Breakfast Bread
- 3 1/2 to 4 c. all-purpose flour
- 3 1/2 c. whole wheat flour
- 2 pkg. RapidRise yeast
- 1 Tbsp. orange peel
- 1 c. chopped walnuts
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 1/2 c. milk
- 1/3 c. honey
- 1/4 c. vegetable oil
- Set aside 1 cup white flour.
- Mix remaining flours, nuts, yeast, peel and salt.
- Heat milk, honey and oil to 125u0b0 to 130u0b0; do not boil.
- Stir into dry ingredients.
- Add enough dry flour reserved to make dough workable. Knead about 8 minutes.
- Cover and let rise 10 minutes.
- Divide and form into 6 balls and place 3 into each pan that is greased.
- Cover and let rise, 30 to 45 minutes.
- Bake at 375u0b0
- for 45 minutes.
- Cover loaves with foil last 15 minutes.
- Makes 2 loaves.
