Apple Raisin Slowpokes

  1. Place warm walnuts in food processor and mix until pureed. Add salt, honey, cinnamon and oil and puree some more. This yields slightly under one cup of nut butter. Set aside.
  2. Place a saucepan over medium heat and add both chocolate and butterscotch chips, along with walnut butter. Stir until melted and combined. Reduce heat.
  3. Stir in raisins, rice cereal and apple chip peices.
  4. After everything's mixed in, drop the mixture by tablespoonfuls onto a sheet of parchment paper and leave them to set up (if you want to speed the process up, you can always stick them in the fridge or freezer even).
  5. Keep in refridgerator as these tend to soften at warmer temps.
