Chili

  1. Fry onions and green peppers separately in oil until soft. Add a little water and continue cooking 15 minutes.
  2. Fry turkey or beef in oil until red is gone.
  3. Add a little water and continue cooking for 15 minutes.
  4. Add tomatoes and kidney beans (prefer Raggedy Ann brand).
  5. Place tomatoes and kidney beans in a kettle; cook until hot.
  6. Add onions, green peppers and meat.
  7. Add red pepper and some salt.
  8. Add chili powder.
  9. Cook 1 hour.
  10. Add water, if needed.
