Oatmeal Sesame Rolls

  1. In a saucepan, heat milk to very warm.
  2. Add margarine, sugar and salt.
  3. Cook to lukewarm.
  4. Add whole wheat flour and yeast in a larger bowl.
  5. Add sour cream, oatmeal and one egg; mix well.
  6. Stir in flour and mix until you have a soft dough.
  7. Knead until smooth. Place in a greased bowl, turn and cover.
  8. Let rise until doubled in bulk.
  9. Punch down.
  10. Divide into 18 pieces.
  11. Roll each to rope shape about 3/4-inch thick.
  12. Beginning at centers form a loose swirl and tuck end under.
  13. Let rise until doubled again.
  14. Brush with 1 beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame seed.
  15. Bake in 350u0b0 oven for 20 to 25 minutes or until browned.
