3 Bean Casserole
- 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen limas
- 3 (11 lb. 3 oz.) cans baked beans
- 3 (15 oz.) cans kidney beans, drained
- 1 lb. pork link sausage
- 1/2 lb. cooked ham, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1/2 c. ketchup
- 1/4 c. brown sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
- 1/4 c. Brer Rabbit light molasses
- Heat oven to 400u0b0.
- Cook limas according to package; drain. Put in large casserole dish and add baked and kidney beans. Simmer sausage in small amount of water for 5 minutes in covered skillet.
- Drain liquid and fry until brown.
- (do not prick sausage, cut sausage into small pieces).
- Add sausage and ham to beans.
- Stir together other ingredients and pour over beans.
- Mix gently.
- Bake, uncovered, for approximately 1 hour.
- Yields a lot.
