Scripture Cake(Look Up References In Your Bible)

  1. Cream butter.
  2. Gradually add sugar and beat in until light. Add egg yolks, one at a time, beating after each addition.
  3. Beat in honey.
  4. Sift dry ingredients and add alternately with milk and beat only until smooth.
  5. (If butter flavor is used, add to milk.) Stir in nuts and fruits.
  6. Beat egg whites until stiff and fold in. Pour into loaf pan (9 x 3-inch) lined with wax paper.
  7. Bake in preheated oven at 350u0b0 for 1 hour or until done.
  8. Cool cake in the pan for 5 minutes.
  9. Turn cake out on a rack and gently peel off paper.
  10. Serve plain or frosted.
