Oat-Pecan Burgers
- 4 c. water
- 1/2 c. soy sauce
- 1/3 c. canola oil
- 1 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
- 1/4 c. nutritional yeast flakes
- 2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 Tbsp. dried sweet basil
- 2 tsp. onion powder
- 1 tsp. Baken seasoning
- 1 tsp. ground coriander
- 1 tsp. dried sage
- 4 c. rolled oats
- Place all ingredients except rolled oats in a large saucepan. Stir well and bring to a slow boil over medium-low heat.
- Stir in rolled oats and immediately remove from heat.
- Cover and set aside to cool.
- Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
- Form oat mixture into 2-inch patties and place in baking sheets (spray with Pam).
- Bake for 15 minutes on each side.
- Makes approximately 20 burgers.
- Can serve with gravy.
- Can freeze.
