Spinach Salad With Bacon & Apples

  1. Wash & drain spinach leaves, chill for 2 hours.
  2. Fry bacon until crisp; reserve 3 Tbl of drippings, crumble bacon and set aside
  3. Saute Almonds and green onions in remaining bacon drippings until almonds are lightly browned, set aside
  4. Whisk together dressing ingredients.
  5. Core & dice apple.
  6. Break spinach into bite size pieces and place in large serving bowl.
  7. Add almond onion mixture and apple.
  8. Pour dressing over salad and toss gently to coat.
