Eggnog Bread

  1. Combine
  2. flour,
  3. baking
  4. powder
  5. and
  6. salt;
  7. set
  8. aside. Combine eggs,
  9. sugar
  10. and
  11. butter
  12. in a large mixing bowl; beat well.
  13. Add flour mixture alternately with eggnog, beginning and ending
  14. with
  15. flour
  16. mixture.
  17. Stir
  18. in
  19. remaining ingredients. Pour batter into
  20. a
  21. greased and floured 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 3-inch loaf pan.
  22. Bake
  23. at
  24. 350u0b0
  25. for 1 hour and 10 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
  26. Cook in pan 10 minutes; remove to wire rack and cool bread completely.
  27. Yields 1 loaf.
