Banana Split Dessert
- 2 sticks oleo or butter
- 2 c. graham cracker crumbs
- 2 c. powdered sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 large can crushed pineapple, drained
- 4 or 5 bananas
- 2 pkg. Dream Whip, prepared
- nuts (optional)
- chocolate syrup
- strawberries
- Melt 1 stick oleo and put in 9 x 13-inch cake pan.
- Sprinkle graham cracker crumbs over top of melted oleo.
- Do not mix.
- Melt remaining stick of oleo and add 2 cups powdered sugar plus a little milk to consistency of thin frosting.
- Add vanilla.
- Pour over graham cracker crumbs, but do not mix in.
- Add pineapple (drained) to make another layer.
- Slice 4 or 5 bananas to make another layer.
- Add Dream Whip.
- Sprinkle nuts on top.
- Drizzle with chocolate syrup.
- Sliced strawberries may be added to garnish; chill.
