Homemade Mincemeat(Slow Cooker)

  1. Combine beef and water in the slow cooker.
  2. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours.
  3. Save all the broth.
  4. Remove meat from the bones.
  5. Grind beef and suet together.
  6. Combine with 1/2 c. broth and remaining ingredients in slow cooker.
  7. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours.
  8. Makes 3 quarts. 2-3 Tbsp. of brandy or bourbon may be added to each pie.
