Microwaving Cabbage Rolls

  1. Place cabbage and water in large bowl.
  2. Cover with plastic wrap.
  3. Microwave for 5 minutes on High to soften.
  4. Mix ground beef, rice, onion, egg, salt, pepper and 2 tablespoons soup. Divide among cabbage leaves.
  5. Fold in sides.
  6. Roll up and secure with toothpicks.
  7. Place cabbage rolls, seam side down, in 12 x 18-inch baking dish.
  8. Mix remaining soup and sauerkraut; pour over cabbage rolls.
  9. Cover dish loosely with plastic wrap.
  10. Microwave 12 to 17 minutes on High, turning dish once.
  11. Yields 4 servings.
