Chocolate Chip Cookies

  1. In a large bowl of an electric mixer, beat butter, shortening and sugar on high speed until light and fluffy (about 5 minutes). Add eggs, one at a time, beating well.
  2. Beat in vanilla and lemon juice.
  3. Gradually add dry ingredients to butter mixture.
  4. Stir in chocolate chips and walnuts.
  5. Use a scant 1/4 cup of dough for each cookie.
  6. Bake at 350u0b0 for 16 to 18 minutes.
