Gon Lo Mein
- 1 lb. ready-to-eat chow mein noodles
- 3/4 c. oyster sauce
- 2 Tbsp. sesame oil
- 8 dried mushrooms, soaked
- 6 green onions, chopped
- 1 (10 oz.) pkg. bean sprouts
- 4 stalks celery, slivered
- 1/2 c. frozen Chinese peas, sliced
- 1 lb. green beans, sliced
- 1 pkg. or 3/4 lb. charsiu, sliced
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. vetsin
- Place noodles in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.
- Sprinkle noodles with 1/4 cup oyster sauce and 1 tablespoon sesame oil. Heat oven at 350u0b0.
- Place in oven for 6 to 10 minutes.
- Slice mushrooms and other vegetables; stir-fry for 2 minutes in 1 tablespoon oil.
- Season with salt, vetsin and the remaining 1/2 cup oyster sauce.
- Mix the charsiu with vegetables.
- Stir in noodles and toss gently.
