Tangy Fish Curry
- For frying Fish
- 500 grams Fish
- 1 teaspoon Red chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 3 tablespoons oil
- For Curry
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 2 pieces onion
- 2 pieces tomatoes
- 2 teaspoons ginger garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 3 teaspoons tamarind soaked
- 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
- 1/4 bunch coriander leaves
- 1/4 bunch mint leaves
- marinate fish with salt, chilli powder and lemon juice for 20 min
- deep fry in oil, remove keep aside
- for curry heat oil in deep pan add onion saute till golden brown
- add tomato, ginger garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder and salt saute for few min
- remove from heat grind to smooth paste
- add to same pan add tamarind paste and 2 cup water cook till boil
- add garam masala mix
- add fried fish pieces in gravy
- add chopped coriander and mint leaves
- garnish with coriander leaves and dry red chili
- serve hot with coconut rice
