Creme De Menthe Brownies

  1. Cream 1/2 cup butter; gradually add 1 cup sugar and cream. Add eggs, one at a time.
  2. Combine flour and salt.
  3. Add to creamed mixture, alternating with chocolate syrup.
  4. Begin and end with flour.
  5. Stir in vanilla.
  6. Pour into a greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan.
  7. Bake at 350u0b0 for 25 to 28 minutes.
  8. Cool completely. Cream 1/4 cup butter.
  9. Add cups of confectioners sugar and creme de menthe; mix well.
  10. Spread evenly over brownies.
  11. Chill 1 hour.
