Creme De Menthe Brownies
- 1/2 c. margarine, softened
- 1 c. sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 (16 oz.) can chocolate syrup
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/4 c. margarine, softened
- 2 c. sifted confectioners sugar
- 2 Tbsp. creme de menthe
- 1/4 c. margarine
- 1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
- Cream 1/2 cup butter; gradually add 1 cup sugar and cream. Add eggs, one at a time.
- Combine flour and salt.
- Add to creamed mixture, alternating with chocolate syrup.
- Begin and end with flour.
- Stir in vanilla.
- Pour into a greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 25 to 28 minutes.
- Cool completely. Cream 1/4 cup butter.
- Add cups of confectioners sugar and creme de menthe; mix well.
- Spread evenly over brownies.
- Chill 1 hour.
