Lemon Fizz Salad

  1. Dissolve jello in 2 cups boiling water in a large bowl.
  2. Add pineapple; chill until partially set.
  3. Add next 3 ingredients and pour into a 9 x 12-inch pan.
  4. Chill until firm.
  5. Combine the sugar, flour, egg and juice in saucepan, mixing well.
  6. Add butter. Cook over medium heat until thick, stirring constantly; cool. Fold whipped cream into cooled mixture.
  7. Spread over congealed layer.
  8. Sprinkle with nuts.
