Double Decker Fudge

  1. In 3-quart saucepan, combine sugar, Marshmallow Creme, evaporated milk, butter or margarine and salt.
  2. Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture boils.
  3. Boil gently, stirring frequently, for 5 minutes.
  4. Divide mixture in half.
  5. To one half (about 3 cups), add chocolate pieces; stir until melted and blended.
  6. Pour into buttered 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
  7. To remaining half of marshmallow mixture, add the butterscotch pieces; beat until smooth.
  8. (If necessary, beat with rotary beater until pieces are melted and mixture is smooth.)
  9. Pour over chocolate layer; cool.
  10. Cut in pieces.
