Chicken Roll-Ups And Gravy
- 6 boneless chicken breasts
- 6 slices ham
- 6 slices Provolone cheese
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 1 1/2 c. chicken broth
- 1 (10 oz.) can cream of chicken soup
- 1 can sliced mushrooms
- 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- hot cooked rice
- Put chicken on wax paper.
- Flatten to 1/4-inch.
- Sprinkle both sides with salt, pepper and garlic.
- Place a slice of ham and cheese in center of each chicken roll and secure with toothpicks. Dredge in flour; brown chicken on both sides in oil.
- Combine chicken broth, soup and mushrooms.
- Pour over chicken; bring to a boil.
- Cover; reduce heat and simmer 30 minutes.
- Serve with rice. Makes 6 servings.
