Spicy Peanut Butter Bacon Cheeseburgers

  1. 1. In a large bowl, mix together the ground turkey, salt, chopped jalapeno, and peanut butter. Once combined, separate into 4 equal portions. Form each portion into a patty about 3/4-1 inch thick, and press an indentation into the center of each with your fingers (this will help the burger keep its shape as it cooks).
  2. 2. Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat for 2-3 minutes. Place the patties in the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side. While the patties are cooking, in a separate pan, cook the bacon according to the directions on the package.
  3. 3. Reduce the heat on the patties to low. Flip the patties back over to the original side, top with cheese, cover the skillet with a lid, and cook for an additional 3 minutes.
  4. 4. Place the patties in the buns, top with bacon, lettuce, and tomato slices (if desired).
