Sweet And Sour Pork Chops

  1. Heat oven to 350u0b0.
  2. In large ovenproof skillet, brown chops in oil.
  3. Remove from skillet; pour off fat in skillet.
  4. Combine lemon juice and cornstarch; mix well.
  5. Add sugar, onion, soy sauce, bouillon and reserved syrup.
  6. Cook and stir until slightly thickened and bouillon is dissolved.
  7. Add pork chops and carrots; cover.
  8. Bake 1 hour or until tender.
  9. Add pineapple; cover and bake 10 minutes.
  10. Garnish with green peppers.
  11. Serve with rice if desired.
