How To Make Bubble Tea With Real Tea

  1. 1. Boil 350mL of water. Once boiled to 90-100 C (194-212 F), stir in Black Tea and boil for 12 minutes.
  2. 2. Remove from heat and cover the pot with lid. Let the tea sit for 12 more minutes to properly infuse tea flavor.
  3. 3. After 12 minutes, the tea should have cooled to 50-60 C (122-140 F). Tip: Make sure the tea does not cool to below 50 C (122 F) for best results.
  4. 4. Filter the tea into a cup with a tea cloth to remove tea leaves. Discard tea leaves.
  5. 5. Add in creamer and sugar. Use a whisk (or spoon) and stir well. If you are having trouble dissolving cream and sugar, it may be because the tea has cooled too much.
  6. 6. Add Ice and mixture into a shaker. Shake mixture to cool down. Remove or add more ice depending on amount preference.
  7. 7. Add Tapioca and enjoy! (optional)
