Easy Chicken Divan
- 2 pkg. frozen broccoli or 1 bunch fresh
- 2 c. sliced, cooked chicken (about 3 large breast halves)
- 2 cans condensed cream of chicken soup
- 1 c. mayonnaise
- 1/2 to 1 tsp. curry powder
- 1/2 c. grated sharp cheese
- pimento strips (if desired)
- 1 tsp. lemon juice
- 1 Tbsp. melted butter
- 1/2 c. soft bread crumbs
- Cook broccoli in boiling, salted water until tender; drain. Arrange stalks in greased 11 1/2 x 7 1/2 x 1 1/2-inch Pyrex baking dish with flowerets facing outward.
- Place chicken on top of broccoli.
- Combine soup, mayonnaise, lemon juice and curry powder. Pour over chicken.
- Sprinkle with cheese.
- Combine crumbs and butter.
- Sprinkle over dish.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 25 to 30 minutes or until thoroughly heated.
- Garnish with pimento strips.
- Serves 4 to 6.
