Pepper Steak Stir-Fry

  1. In a large skillet, stir-fry garlic in 1 tablespoon butter for 1 minute.
  2. Add onions and green peppers; stir-fry for about 4 minutes, or until vegetables are tender.
  3. Transfer vegetables with a slotted spoon to a bowl.
  4. Add remaining butter or margarine to skillet; stir-fry meat (1/2 at a time) until the meat is cooked through (2 to 3 minutes).
  5. Return all the steak and vegetables to the skillet.
