Banana Doughnuts
- 2 cups All purpose flour
- 3 tablespoons Brown sugar
- 3-4 Mashed bananas
- 1 teaspoon Cardamom powder
- 1 teaspoon Fennel seeds
- 1 teaspoon Sesame seeds
- 1 teaspoon Baking powder
- Pinch Salt
- Oil to deep /shallow fry
- Milk to make batter, you can even use water in place of dairy
- Mix all the dry the ingredients , add mashed ripe bananas and convert into batter.
- Heat up some oil to deep fry these munchkins! You can also shallow fry these. You can serve these with some chocolate sauce or eat them as it is. They taste great with some tea or coffee!
- You can skip milk, instead use coconut milk or use simply water. Do not make very runny batter. You can adjust sugar as per your taste. Use ripest bananas. They would taste better. You can also use freshly grated coconut in the batter, it taste amazing. Feel free to sub cardamom to cinnamon or any other flavor you like.
