Caesar Salad
- 1 extra large head fresh romaine
- 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
- freshly ground black pepper
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 4 anchovy fillets
- 2 egg yolks
- 2 generous shakes Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tsp. Dijon prepared mustard
- hot sauce (couple shakes)
- juice of 2 fresh lemons
- 3 Tbsp. finely grated fresh Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 c. extra virgin olive oil
- 6 slices white or French bread
- 1/2 c. butter, melted
- chopped fresh garlic
- 1 can red kidney beans
- 1/4 Spanish onion, minced
- 2 stalks celery, minced
- 1/2 jar Howard's sweet pepper relish, drained
- 2 Tbsp. mayonnaise
- pinch of garlic powder
- salt and pepper to taste
- Rinse and drain the beans.
- Combine all ingredients. Refrigerate overnight.
- Serve chilled with crackers.
