Swedish Meatballs
- 1 lb. hamburg
- 1/2 lb. ground pork
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 3/4 c. bread crumbs
- 1 slice bread
- 1 Tbsp. snipped parsley
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 egg
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1/4 c. salad oil
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1 tsp. paprika
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 2 c. water
- 3/4 c. sour cream
- Mix first 11 ingredients.
- Refrigerate 2 hours.
- Shape into pingpong size balls and brown in oil.
- Remove and keep warm. Blend flour and seasonings into oil in skillet.
- Stir until smooth and bubbly.
- Remove from heat and stir in water.
- Heat to boiling. Boil and stir 1 minute.
- Reduce heat and stir in sour cream.
- Add meatballs and heat through.
