Chuck Casserole
- 1/2 lb. fine noodles
- 2 c. onions, chopped
- 2 lb. ground chuck
- 1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms
- 1 can water chestnuts, sliced
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- 1/4 c. soy sauce
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 lb. grated cheese
- 1 can Chinese noodles
- Cook and drain noodles.
- Brown chuck and onions in pan. Combine mushrooms, soup, milk and sauces.
- Add to meat, add chestnuts and mix.
- Butter 3-quart casserole dish.
- Spread noodles and cover with meat mixture.
- Top with cheese.
- Cook at 350u0b0 until cheese bubbles.
- Remove from oven and top with Chinese noodles. Return to oven for 10 minutes.
